The company has strategically placed itself well with many new regulation in landfill diversion, that create new opportunities for business. Many states are moving towards removing organic waste from solid waste.

Through these regulations of landfill diversion I believe Waste Management can take the lead in the new opportunity to haul and handle organic waste material. There are opportunities to both haul and create a new product from organic waste.
